Questions

Yearly or lifetime: what is the difference?

Only how you pay; the pass is the same. Yearly: USD 24 a year, renewed automatically every year until you cancel, which you can do any time on Gumroad; if you cancel, the pass stays active until the end of the year you paid for. Lifetime: USD 65 once; it does not expire, nothing renews and nothing is charged again. “Lifetime” means the lifetime of the pass: as long as the site and its tools are online (the terms say what happens if they ever close).

Can I try it first?

Yes: the yearly plan starts with 7 days free. Nothing is charged until day 8. If you cancel the subscription on Gumroad before then, nothing is charged at all. During the trial the whole pass is unlocked.

I already bought the pass. Does anything change?

No. Every pass bought before 20 October 2026 is a lifetime pass: the same key keeps working, it does not expire and nothing will ever be charged.

What stays free?

Everything that is free today: JamShed with the 123 standards or your own chords, offline; EasyLoop with the buttons and the keyboard; EarShed and TimeShed with their free practice, the tests and the metronome; the 129 analysed standards, the analyzer, voicings, scales, arpeggios, the triad pair and pentatonic finders and the guitar tuner; and PDF documents: 3 free to start, then one a week.

How do I activate it?

After paying on Gumroad your key arrives by email. Press Already have a key? on this page — or in any tool when it asks — and paste it. It is active on that device straight away.

On how many devices?

One key works on up to five devices: your computer, your phone, the tablet on the music stand.

I bought a book bundle. Do I need it?

No: the key of a book bundle bought before 15 October 2026 already includes the pass. Use that key. Since then the books are sold without the pass, and the pass on its own.

And the tools that come later?

They join the pass as they are built, at no extra cost. The pass is for the site, not for a list frozen today.
