Jazz standard chords, chord progressions and harmonic analysis — free, and with no account to make.
Every one of these tunes is assembled out of the same handful of harmonic resources. Jazz Harmony is those resources, explained in the order in which they build on each other.
These are not fake-book pages. Each tune is opened at the one place where it actually teaches something — a short, deliberately chosen excerpt of four to eight chords — and that excerpt is analysed properly: the key, a Roman numeral and a harmonic function for every chord, an explanation of each reading in plain language, and how confident that reading is.
They are grouped by the harmonic device each excerpt demonstrates rather than alphabetically, because the device is usually what you came looking for. A tune appears under more than one heading when its chords earn it: the groupings below come from what the analyzer found in the excerpt printed on each page, not from a label typed in by hand.
About the excerpts. Every page quotes a few bars inside analytical commentary. None of them reproduces a complete chart, and none of them carries a melody, a lyric or a lead sheet. Where a composition is old enough to be very likely out of copyright in the United States the excerpt runs longer, but copyright varies by territory and edition and nothing here is legal advice.
